Perhaps, but from my experience, those customers with shared hosting are customers that I really don't want to touch. From the potentials I've interviewed, the customers are have low budgets and their deadlines unrealistic...

The projects that I do acquire, I either point to a host who has PHP5, or move to a VPS, I'm currently configuring my own VPS, when I'm well versed with managing a VPS and get my head around Linux, I'll be moving all my clients to this server.
